Indifferent Broccoli
broccoli Open Source Software (bOSS) Project
IndifferentBroccoli is launching a new initiative to give back to the gaming community by making game server setup more accessible for everyone. As part of this effort, they plan to create and share public server images for every game they host. This will allow players to easily set up and run their own game servers without needing technical expertise.
To support this initiative, Obsurvatory has acted as a technical consultant, guiding IndifferentBroccoli through the process of implementing this community-focused project. Obsurvatory created the necessary server containers, ensuring seamless integration across different games, and has also developed comprehensive documentation to make the setup process user-friendly and accessible to all.
The initiative empowers gamers by giving them the freedom to manage their own servers if they choose, with no cost involved. For those who prefer a hassle-free experience, IndifferentBroccoli offers professional hosting services, taking care of the server management on their behalf.
Result
The project has resulted in the creation of several repositories that house the source code for the containers, making it accessible for the community to explore, contribute, and customize.
